I'm Charley Santos, certified Personal trainer specialized in functional movement, corrective exercise, and physical rehabilitation, with over a decade of experience helping individuals improve their overall movement patterns, address muscular imbalances, and recover from injuries. I focus on optimizing the body's functional abilities, enhancing performance, and promoting injury prevention.

 

Functional movement refers to exercises and activities that mimic real-life movements and improve coordination, stability, and mobility. Specializing in this area I guide individuals through exercises that involve multiple muscle groups and joints, helping them develop strength, flexibility, and balance.

 

Corrective exercise involves identifying and addressing muscular imbalances, postural issues, and movement dysfunctions. Starting with assessments individuals  movement patterns, identify areas of weakness or dysfunction, and prescribe exercises and stretches to correct those imbalances. This helps improve overall movement quality and reduces the risk of injury.

 

Physical rehabilitation focuses on guiding individuals through exercise programs designed to aid in the recovery from injuries or surgeries. Ensuring they follow a safe and progressive rehabilitation plan that targets specific areas affected by injury or surgery. I incorporate exercises that improve strength, range of motion, and functional abilities while minimizing the risk of re-injury.
